USA has renewed its original drama series Queen of the South for a third season, it was announced today. The new season will debut in 2018.
The drama stars Alice Braga, Veronica Falcon, Peter Gadiot, Hemky Madera, Jon-Michael Ecker, Nick Sagar and Joaquim de Almeida.
M.A. Fortin and Joshua John Miller developed the drama. They executive produce with Natalie Chaidez, David T. Friendly and Pancho Mansfield. Universal Cable Productions and Fox 21 Television Studios produce.
Chaidez replaced Scott Rosenbaum as showrunner for the current second season. She will return in the role for the third season. Season 2 wraps its run on Thursday, August 31.
