HULU's THE FIRST
  • Just days after the streaming service won the Emmy for Best Drama Series with The Handmaid's Tale, Oscar winner Sean Penn (Milk, Mystic River) has signed on to star in the upcoming drama from House of Cards creator Beau Willimon. No details were immediately released about the character he will be playing.
SYFY's HAPPY!
  • The cable channel is making a change to the premiere date for the upcoming drama starring Christopher Meloni. The series premiere has been pushed back a week from Wednesday, November 29 to Wednesday, December 6 at 10/9c.
THE CW's JANE THE VIRGIN
  • Alex Meneses (Telenovela, Everybody Loves Raymond) has booked a recurring role on the comedy's upcoming fourth season. He will play Katherine, the owner of the Cortes Hotel Conglomerate who is a possible investor of Rafael (Justin Baldoni) and Petra's (Yael Grobglas) hotel.
NBC's LAW & ORDER: SVU
  • Sam Waterston is set to reprise his Law & Order role in an upcoming episode of the drama's nineteenth season. He plays prosecutor Jack McCoy, who was a part of the original series from the fifth season until the drama's cancellation after Season 20. 
FOX's GOTHAM
  • Michael Maize (Mr. Robot) has landed a recurring role on the drama's upcoming fourth season. He will play Grady, Merton's right-hand man who has a past connection to Jonathan Crane, aka the Scarecrow.
LIFETIME's YOU
  • Daniel Cosgrove (Billions) has been cast in a recurring role on the upcoming drama starring Penn Badgley and Elizabeth Lail. He will play Ron, a parole officer who is Joe's (Badgley) neighbor and Paco's (Luca Padovan) abusive stepfather.
