ABC's Roseanne; CBS' S.W.A.T.; FOX's L.A. to Vegas; and NBC's Saturday Night Live.
FOX's L.A. TO VEGAS
- Dylan McDermott and Dermot Mulroney are finally set to work together. After years of being confused for one another (including in a Saturday Night Live sketch), Mulroney is set to guest star in the upcoming comedy starring McDermott. Mulroney will play Captain Steve, a charismatic pilot with better international routes and an attitude that grinds on Captain Dave (McDermott).
CBS' S.W.A.T.
- After appearing in the pilot as a guest star, David Lim (Quantico) has been promoted to series regular on the upcoming drama. He plays Victor Tan, a relatively new S.W.A.T. officer who made his name in the Hollywood division before advancing to the heights of the LAPD and Metro S.W.A.T. He has a nose for action and a willingness to place a bet on anything. He uses his confidential informants in the community to help Hondo (Shemar Moore) and the rest of their team capture the city's toughest criminals.
NBC's SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE
- Gal Gadot (Wonder Woman) and Kumail Nanjiani (The Big Sick) are set to make their hosting debuts on the long-running sketch comedy series on October 7 and October 14, respectively. Sam Smith will be the musical guest in Gadot's episode, while P!nk will be the musical guest with Nanjiani.
ABC's ROSEANNE
- Shameless star Emma Kenney has booked a series regular role on the upcoming revival of the hit comedy series. She will play Harris, Darlene (Sara Gilbert) and David's (Johnny Galecki) daughter. She's a recent transplant from Chicago to Lanford, Illinois and not necessarily happy about it. She is determined to do better than her parents and grandparents. Her choices from clothes to friends should represent her drive to move up the socioeconomic ladder. She vacillates between typical teenage acting out to showing she actually has a big heart.
