NBC Renews 'Marlon' for Season 2

NBC has renewed its original comedy series Marlon for a second season, it was announced today.







Today's renewal announcement didn't confirm an exact episode count for the new season or if the show will once again air in the summer.

The comedy stars Marlon Wayans, Essence Atkins, Notlim Taylor, Amir O'Neil, Bresha Webb and Diallo Riddle.

Christopher Moynihan and Marlon Wayans created the comedy. They executive produce with Rick Alvarez, Michael Rotenberg and Andy Ackerman. Universal Television, 3 Arts Entertainment, Baby Way Productions and Bicycle Path Productions produce.

Across its first season, the comedy averaged a 1.5 rating in the key Adults 18-49 demographic and 5.6 million viewers when factoring in seven days of delayed viewing.
