ABC's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. & How to Get Away With Murder; The CW's Black Lightning; Netflix's Maniac; and TV Land's Teachers.





TV LAND's TEACHERS
  • Jeff Ross (Comedy Central Roasts) and Andrew Daly (Review) will appear in upcoming episodes of the comedy's second season. Ross will play a fire marshal who comes to the school after asbestos is found in Mrs. Adler's (Kathryn Renée Thomas) trailer. Daly will play a police officer visiting the school for an anti-drug presentation but ends up in an "opposites attract" scenario with Ms. Feldman (Cate Freedman).
ABC's AGENTS OF S.H.I.E.L.D.
  • After recurring in Season 4, Natalia Cordova-Buckley has been promoted to series regular for the drama's upcoming fifth season. She plays Elena Rodriguez aka Yo-Yo, an inhuman with the ability to move at incredible speeds during the time of a single heartbeat.
THE CW's BLACK LIGHTNING
  • Grammy winner Jill Scott has booked a recurring role on the upcoming drama starring Cress Williams. She will play Lady Eve, who will serve as the bridge between Tobias White (Marvin "Krondon" Jones III) and a secret group of corrupt leaders. Always a consummate professional, she presents herself as the owner of a funeral parlor, but quickly becomes an adversary to Black Lightning (Williams).
NETFLIX's MANIAC
  • Oscar and Emmy winner Sally Field (ER, Brothers & Sisters) has been cast in a recurring role on the upcoming comedy starring Emma Stone and Jonah Hill. Like with all previous casting on the project, no details were immediately released about the character she'll be playing.
ABC's HOW TO GET AWAY WITH MURDER
  • Amirah Vann (Underground, Major Crimes) has landed a recurring role on the drama's fourth season. Like most casting on the drama, no details were immediately released about the character she will be playing.
