- John Ellison Conlee (Boardwalk Empire, Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt) has been cast on the drama pilot starring Kevin Bacon. He will play Harlan Maylor, a scruffy mess and Val's (Bacon) closest friend. A genius who began his adult years working for a biotech company, he now dedicates himself to yoga, meditation and self-exploration. He was a geeky teenager obsessed with the idea of hunting the "Sandworm of Tatooine."
