Casting News - Josh Stamberg Among 'Nashville' Cast Additions; Nathan Parsons Joins 'Once Upon a Time'; Plus 2 More Updates!

ABC's Once Upon a Time; CMT's Nashville; National Geographic's Genius; and Netflix's The Haunting of Hill House.

  • Josh Stamberg, Jake Etheridge, Rainee Lyleson, Nic Luken and Dylan Arnold have booked recurring roles on the drama's upcoming sixth season. Stamberg will play Darius, an extremely charismatic founder of a self-actualization movement that has transformed many lives. Etheridge will play Sean, a recent military veteran who suffers from severe PTSD and has yet to embrace his talent and passion for music. Lyleson will play Alannah, a singer-songwriter who is a newcomer to the Nashville music scene and starts out as a backup singer but soon will be discovered for the star that she actually is meant to be. Luken will play Jonah Ford, a pop star who is very handsome, extremely confident, charming and exudes all the qualities of a superstar. Arnold will play Twig, a childhood friend of Jonah and a member of his entourage who navigates this lifestyle by guarding his anxiety and pain with a caustic, brilliant sense of humor.
  • Nathan Parsons (The Originals) has been cast in a recurring role on the drama's seventh season. He will play Nick, a confident and charismatic slacker-turned-successful lawyer. He's polished , but not stuffy or smarmy. A natural guy's guy, Nick has an instant likability and always says the right thing. 
  • Alex Rich, Clémence Poésy, Robert Sheehan, Poppy Delevingne, Aisling Franciosi and Sebastian Roche will star opposite Antonio Banderas on the drama's upcoming second season. Furthermore, Season 1 stars Samantha Colley, T.R. Knight, Seth Gabel and Johnny Flynn are set to return in new roles. Rich will play the younger version of Pablo Picasso (Banderas). Poésy will play Francoise Gilot, a French painter and best-selling author whose decade-long affair with Picasso yielded tow children. Sheehan will play Carlos Casagemas, a Spanish art student and poet who was one of Picasso's closest friends. Delevingne will play Marie-Thérése Walter, a lover and muse of Picasso who mothered his first daughter. Franciosi will play Fernande Olivier, a French artist and model who Picasso painted more than 60 times. Roche will play Emile Gilot, Francoise's tyrannical father. Colley will play Dora Maar, a French photographer and painter who was also Picasso's lover and muse. Knight will play Max Jacob, one of Picasso's first friends in Paris. Gabel will play Guillaume Apollinaire, one of the foremost poets of the 20th century and a frequent collaborator with Picasso. Flynn will play Alain Cuny, a French actor.
  • Halt and Catch Fire alum Annabeth Gish has landed a recurring role on the upcoming drama starring Michiel Huisman and Carla Gugino. Like with all previous casting, no details were immediately released about the character she will be playing.
