TNT's ONE DAY SHE'LL DARKEN
  • Connie Nielsen (Wonder Woman) has landed a key role on the upcoming limited series starring Chris Pine. She will play Corinna Hodel, a fading socialite beauty with a cigarette in a long black holder. An alcoholic who's seen her family shattered and her fortunes tossed to the wind, Corinna finds herself a keeper of secrets, but none more fearsome than those she keeps from herself.
CBS' SCORPION
  • Shantel VanSanten (One Tree Hill, The Flash) has booked a recurring role on the drama's fourth season. She will play Amy, Toby's (Eddie Kaye Thomas) former fiancée who is now married to Quincy Berkstead (Jeff Galfer). She is a brilliant geneticist. Although she broke off her engagement to Toby due to his gambling and immaturity, she she has affection for him all of these years later.
ABC's DESIGNATED SURVIVOR
  • Franklin & Bash star Breckin Meyer has been cast in a recurring role on the drama's second season. He will play Trey Kirkman, President Tom Kirkman's (Kiefer Sutherland) younger brother. He's the polar opposite of his older brother in temperament and life choices. He is smart, outgoing, a bit of a free spirit but grounded enough to have forged a successful career in the world of finance. He's been estranged from Tom for years but they reconnect, as Trey becomes an important confidant and counselor to his brother, especially in personal matters.
