ABC's Designated Survivor & The Good Doctor; The CW's Supergirl; FOX's Star; NBC's The Brave; and Netflix's The Good Cop & The Umbrella Academy.
NETFLIX's THE GOOD COP
- Monica Barbaro (Chicago Justice, UnREAL) has been cast as the female lead on the upcoming comedic drama starring Tony Danza and Josh Groban. She will play Cara Vasquez, the newest detective on the All-City Homicide Task Force who is street smart and self-assured. She believes in getting the job done, even if that means bending the rules, which always gets a rise out of her earnest, by-the-book partner, Tony Jr. (Groban).
ABC's THE GOOD DOCTOR
- Eric Winter (Witches of East End, Rosewood) has booked a recurring role on the drama's first season. He will play Dr. Matt Coyle, a young and charming doctor who initially impresses members of the hospital's surgical team, but whose true character puts one of the team members in an awkward position at work.
FOX's STAR
- Grammy winners Patti LaBelle and Brandy Norwood have landed recurring roles on the drama's second season. LaBelle will play Christine, Carlotta's (Queen Latifah) tough but loving mother. Norwood will play Cassie, Carlotta's younger sister.
ABC's DESIGNATED SURVIVOR
- The drama's second season is staging a major 24 reunion. Kim Raver has been cast in a recurring role on the drama starring Kiefer Sutherland. She will play Andrea Frost, a wunderkind engineer and entrepreneur whose company, Apache Aerospace, is at the apex of high-tech industry. She is a woman with unshrinking confidence and vision with a philosophy about business and government that is sure to challenge the old ways that she's made a career of breaking through.
NBC's THE BRAVE
- James Tupper has joined the drama's first season (starring his real-life wife Anne Heche) in a recurring role. He will play Alex Hoffman, a brilliant CIA field officer who in the past formed a partnership of opportunity with Patricia (Heche) as they rose through the ranks together. The two reconnect after years apart when Hoffman finds himself at the center of a crisis that threatens global security.
THE CW's SUPERGIRL
- Emmy winner Laurie Metcalf (Roseanne, Getting On) will appear in an upcoming episode of the drama's third season. She will play the estranged mother of Winn Schott (Jeremy Jordan).
NETFLIX's THE UMBRELLA ACADEMY
- Ellen Page (Juno, Gaycation) will star in the upcoming drama based on the comic book series of the same name. She will play Vanya, the black sheep of her dysfunctional family. She is the only one of Reginald Hargreeves' adopted children with no supernatural abilities. A meek and insecure wallflower, she struggles to find her place in the world.
