CBS has today ordered additional episodes of two of its freshman series - drama S.W.A.T. (for 9 more episodes) and comedy 9JKL (for 3 more episodes).
S.W.A.T. stars Shemar Moore, Stephanie Sigman, Alex Russell, Lina Esco, Kenny Johnson, Peter Onorati, Jay Harrington and David Lim.
Aaron Rahsaan Thomas and Shawn Ryan developed the drama. They executive produce with Neal H. Moritz, Marney Hochman, Danielle Woodrow, Pavun Shetty and Justin Lin. Sony Pictures Television, CBS Television Studios, Perfect Storm Entertainment, Original Film, Kansas Art Productions and MiddKid Productions produce.
The first season is currently averaging a 1.9 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 10.4 million total viewers when factoring in three days of DVR usage.
9JKL stars Mark Feuerstein, Linda Lavin, David Walton, Liza Lapira, Albert Tsai, Matt Murray and Elliott Gould.
