NBC has renewed its original comedy series The Good Place for a third season, it was announced today. The show will be back for another 13 episode season in 2018.
The comedy stars Kristen Bell, William Jackson Harper, Jameela Jamil, D'Arcy Carden, Manny Jacinto and Ted Danson.
Michael Schur created the comedy. He executive produces with David Miner, Morgan Sackett and Drew Goddard. Universal Television, 3 Arts Entertainment and Fremulon produce.
In its second season so far, the comedy has averaged a 2.0 rating in the key Adults 18-49 demographic and 6.2 million total viewers when factoring in seven days of DVR usage.
