BBC America Cancels 'Dirk Gently's Holistic Detective Agency' After 2 Seasons

BBC America has canceled its original drama series Dirk Gently's Holistic Detective Agency after two seasons, it was announced today. The drama wrapped its series run on December 16, 2017.






"We are beyond proud of this brilliant original series and so appreciative of the outstanding team behind it including Max Landis, Samuel Barnett, Elijah Wood and so many many others. It was a privilege to work with this talented and passionate group of writers, producers and actors on these two seasons of Dirk. Thanks also to the passionate fans who embraced this fantastically novel world," said BBC America in a statement.

The drama starred Samuel Barnett, Elijah Wood, Hannah Marks, Jade Eshete, Fiona Dourif, Mpho Koaho, Michael Eklund, Dustin Milligan and Osric Chau.

Max Landis developed the drama. He executive produced with Dean Parisot, David Alpert, Rick Jacobs, Ted Adams, David Ozer, Arvind Ethan David, Zainir Aminullah and Robert C. Cooper. AMC Studios, Circle of Confusion, IDW Entertainment and Ideate Media produced.
