- Michele Weaver and Will Catlett will play the lead roles on the upcoming drama created by Mara Brock Akil and Salim Akil.
- Weaver will play Nuri, a bubbly personality with big dreams who is struggling to make a name for herself as a sitcom staff writer while juggling an assortment of romances that only leave her partly fulfilled. After she meets Yasir, himself unemployed and barely holding onto his dreams, Nuri changes all her opinions about what she expects from a man because she's just found the one who is perfect for her.
- Catlett will play Yasir is an aspiring writer-director who is down to his last two unemployment checks and lives (unhappily) with his on-again/off-again ex. But after meeting the stunning Nuri, Yasir finds a reason to alter his life and the drive to access his potential.
AMC's FEAR THE WALKING DEAD
- Kevin Zegers (Notorious, Gracepoint) is the latest actor to join the drama's upcoming fourth season. Like with all previous casting on the new season, no details were immediately released about the character he will be playing. He joins fellow new additions Garret Dillahunt, Jenna Elfman, Maggie Grace and Lennie James (from the original show).
ABC's QUANTICO
- Amber Skye Noyes (The Deuce) has booked a recurring role on the drama's upcoming third season. She will play Celine Fox, a new recruit of an elite black ops team.
