Syfy has today announced the premiere date for its new original drama series Krypton starring Cameron Cuffe.
The first season will premiere on Wednesday, March 21 at 10/9c.
The drama is set two generations before the destruction of Superman's home planet, Krypton. It follows Kal-El's grandfather, Seg-El (Cuffe), as he attempts to bring order to his house and his planet. He will receive a visit from Earth-based time traveler Adam Strange, who will warn him that he's under the clock to save his beloved world from chaos.
In addition to Cuffe, the drama stars Georgina Campbell, Ian McElhinney, Elliot Cowan, Ann Ogbomo, Rasmus Hardiker, Wallis Day, Aaron Pierre, Paula Malcomson and Shaun Sipos.
David S. Goyer created the drama. He executive produces with showrunner Cameron Welsh and director Colm McCarthy. Warner Horizon Television, DC Entertainment and Phantom Four produce.
