Netflix has today announced the premiere date for its upcoming original drama series Seven Seconds starring Emmy winner Regina King (American Crime, The Leftovers).
The entire 10-episode season will debut on the streaming service on Friday, February 23.
In an instant, life is forever changed for Brenton Butler and his family. After a white cop accidentally hits and critically injures a black teenager, a northeastern city explodes with racial tension, an attempted cover up and its aftermath, and the trial of the century.
The cast includes Regina King, David Lyons, Beau Knapp, Russell Hornsby, Raúl Castillo, Zackary Momoh, Michael Mosley, Patrick Murney and Clare-Hope Ashitey.
Veena Sud (The Killing) created the drama. She executive produces with Lawrence Bender, Kevin Brown, Alex Reznik and director Gavin O'Connor. Fox 21 Television Studios produces.
