The CW's 'Supergirl' and 'Legends of Tomorrow' to Share Time Slot in 2018

When The CW announced its midseason return dates last month, Legends of Tomorrow was noticeably absent. And now, the broadcast network has announced plans to have the drama share the Mondays at 8/7c. time slot with Supergirl.

The network had previously announced that Supergirl will return from its winter hiatus on Monday, January 15. It will air four consecutive episodes in the time slot. Then, the drama will go on hiatus with Legends of Tomorrow airing in the time slot starting on Monday, February 12 where it will air the final nine episodes of its third season straight through. The drama will conclude its season on Monday, April 9. Supergirl will then resume its third season on Monday, April 16 where it will air uninterrupted until its own season finale on Monday, June 18.

The move was made after it was announced that the new drama Black Lightning would be replacing Legends of Tomorrow in its Tuesday night time slot starting on Tuesday, January 16.

The network still hasn't announced premiere dates for returning series The 100, iZombie and The Originals as well as new series Life Sentence.
