CBS' Murphy Brown; Netflix's The Punisher; OWN's Greenleaf; and Starz's Counterpart.





CBS' MURPHY BROWN
  • The broadcast network has confirmed today that Faith Ford, Joe Regalbuto and Grant Shaud will all return to reprise their roles as Corky Sherwood, Frank Fontana and Miles Silverberg on the upcoming revival of the hit sitcom. Core cast member Charles Kimbrough is the only former star not signed on at this point.
  • Ford and Regalbuto were both nominated for Emmy Awards for their roles during the original run of the series.
NETFLIX's THE PUNISHER
  • Josh Stewart, Floriana Lima and Giorgia Whigham have been cast as new series regulars on the drama's upcoming second season. They will join returning cast Jon Berthal as Frank Castle, Ben Barnes as Billy Russo, Amber Rose Revah as Dinah Madani and Jason R. Moore as Curtis Hoyle.
  • Stewart (Shooter) will play John Pilgrim, a man whose calm exterior belies a ruthless interior. Despite having left behind a life of violence, circumstances will force him to use his old skills and bring him into Frank Castle's world.
  • Lima (Supergirl) will play Krista Dumont, a smart, compassionate and driven psychotherapist for military veterans.
  • Whigham (Scream) will play Amy Bendix, a street-smart grifter with a mysterious past.
OWN's GREENLEAF
  • Grammy winner Patti LaBelle has joined the drama's upcoming third season in a recurring role. She has won two Grammy Awards and was inducted into the Grammy Hale of Fame in 2004. As an actress, she has previously had recurring roles on FX's American Horror Story and VH1's Daytime Divas.
  • She will play Maxine Patterson, a famous Christian motivational speaker and the CEO of a global Christian self-help empire. An old friend of Mae's (Lynn Whitfield) from college, Maxine will be Lady Mae's sounding board and greatest ally as Mae attempts to consolidate her power at Calvary.
STARZ's COUNTERPART
  • Betty Gabriel has been added to the drama's upcoming second season as a new series regular. She had a breakout performance in the Academy Award-nominated film Get Out and will next appear in a recurring role on HBO's Westworld.
  • She will play Naya Temple, a former FBI agent recently hired by the Office of Interchange to clean house, a figure both intimidating and magnetic.
