Comedy Central Renews 'Drunk History' for Season 6

Comedy Central has renewed its original comedy series Drunk History for a sixth season, it was announced today. The new season will feature 16 episodes.

The comedy features the liquored-up narration of our nation's past. Host Derek Waters and an always-changing cast of actors and comedians travel the country to present the rich tales that every city in this land has to offer. Booze helps bring out the truth. It's just that sometimes the truth is a little incoherent.

Derek Waters and Jeremy Konner created the comedy. They executive produce with Will Ferrell, Adam McKay and Owen Burke. Gary Sanchez Productions produces.

"They say history is written by the victors, but after five seasons, it's now clear that it is best told by drunken comedians," said Kent Alterman, President, Comedy Central.
