FX's WHAT WE DO IN THE SHADOWS
  • Doug Jones, Beanie Feldstein, Mark Proksch and Jake McDorman have joined the cast of the comedy pilot from Jemaine Clement and Taika Waititi. No details were immediately released about the characters they will be playing. However, they all have the potential to recur should the project be ordered to series.
  • Jones currently stars in CBS All Access' Star Trek: Discovery and Guillermo del Toro's The Shape of Water. Feldstein appears in Lady Bird and appeared on Broadway in Hello, Dolly!. Proksch previously recurred on AMC's Better Call Saul. McDorman played the lead role on CBS' one-season drama Limitless.
NBC's THE VILLAGE
  • Michaela McManus, Jerod Haynes and Frankie Faison have been cast on the drama pilot written by Mike Daniels.
  • McManus (SEAL Team, Aquarius) will play Sarah, a caring nurse and mother of a pregnant teen who was a teen mom herself.
  • Haynes (Southside With You, Blueprint) will play Ben, a local police officer and tenant of the apartment building.
  • Faison (Banshee, The Wire) will play Ron, a man who's very caring and willing to help anyone.
CBS NEW PILOT ORDER
  • 25 (Comedy, Multi-Camera) - Written by Hilary Winston (Bad Teacher, Dr. Ken). Executive produced by Winston, Seth Rogen, Evan Goldberg and James Weaver. Produced by CBS Television Studios, Sony Pictures Television and Point Grey Pictures. Logline: Twenty-something Kyle comes to Austin to finally convince his old best friend from camp they are perfect for each other. Unfortunately, she just got engaged. A lot of guys would give up. Kyle is not one of those guys. But to Kyle's surprise, even though he came to town looking for "the one," he might end up with much more than that.
