ABC Renews 'Roseanne' for Season 11

Just a few days after the premiere of the tenth season after 20 years, ABC has renewed its original comedy series Roseanne for an eleventh season. The order is for 13 episodes, up from the 9 in the current season.

The comedy returned on Tuesday, May 27 with its first two episodes. Those episodes were seen by over 18 million viewers and posted an impressive 5.2 rating in the core Adults 18-49 demographic. When factoring in delayed viewing, the comedy counts to post significant gains.

The comedy stars Roseanne Barr, John Goodman, Laurie Metcalf, Lecy Goranson, Sara Gilbert, Michael Fishman, Emma Kenney, Ames McNamara and Jayden Rey.

Executive producers include Barr, Gilbert, Tom Werner, Bruce Helford, Whitney Cummings and Tony Hernandez. Carsey-Werner Television produces.

"We're thrilled that America has welcomed the Conner family back into their homes," said Channing Dungey, President, ABC Entertainment. "The show is as fresh and relevant today as it was when it left the air 21 years ago. We can't wait to see what the Roseanne team has in store for next year."
