Casting News - March 15, 2018

CBS' FBI; Netflix's Luke Cage, The Ranch & Untitled Sabrina Drama; and Showtime's Kidding.

NETFLIX's LUKE CAGE
  • Annabella Sciorra will appear in a major role on the drama's upcoming second season. She previously had a significant recurring role on HBO's The Sopranos and next appears in the second season of Netflix's GLOW.
  • She will play Rosalie Carbone, a dangerous downtown criminal underworld power player with an eye, and an agenda, toward Harlem.
CBS' FBI
  • Missy Peregrym will play the female lead on the upcoming drama starring Zeeko Zaki, Connie Nielsen and Jeremy Sisto. She starred for five seasons in ABC's Rookie Blue and is currently recurring on Syfy's Van Helsing.
  • She will play FBI Special Agent Maggie Bell, an agent who her bosses and peers agree is marked for success. Born into a multigenerational law enforcement family in the Midwest, she has developed a sophisticated skill set: high emotional IQ, intellectual rigor, bracing candor. She engages immediately, commits deeply, to the people she works with and is protecting. She came to New York with conviction - and is working incredibly hard not to let a recent personal tragedy derail her new life, personally or professionally.
SHOWTIME's KIDDING
  • Justin Kirk has joined the cast of the upcoming comedy starring Jim Carrey, Catherine Keener, Frank Langella and Judy Greer. His casting brings him back to Showtime after his eight season starring role on Weeds.
  • He will play Peter, the new boyfriend of Jill (Greer), Jeff's (Carrey) estranged wife.
NETFLIX's UNTITLED SABINRA DRAMA
  • Tati Gabrielle will co-star on the upcoming drama starring Kiernan Shipka. She has previously had a recurring role on The CW's The 100.
  • She will play Prudence, a student at the Academy of Unseen Arts and the de factor leader of a trio of witches known as the Weird Sisters. Beautiful and cunning, she nurses a deep, personal and possibly life-threatening grudge against Sabrina (Shipka).
NETFLIX's THE RANCH
  • Dax Shepard has landed a recurring role on the comedy's upcoming third season. He starred for six seasons in NBC's Parenthood and recently signed on as the male lead on the FOX comedy pilot Bless This Mess.
  • He will play Luke Matthews, a former soldier who has come to Garrison with some history concerning the Iron River Ranch. He meets the Bennetts and forms an immediate bond with Colt (Ashton Kutcher) and his father Beau (Sam Elliott), but Luke's past has a way of catching up with him.
