Epix's Get Shorty; HBO's Big Little Lies; Netflix's GLOW; and Starz's Counterpart.
HBO's BIG LITTLE LIES
- Douglas Smith has joined the cast of the drama's upcoming second season. He is currently starring in TNT's The Alienist. He previously starred for five seasons in HBO's Big Love.
- He will play Corey Brockfield, an off-beat surfer, aspiring marine biologist and Jane's (Shailene Woodley) co-worker.
NETFLIX's GLOW
- Patrick Renna has been cast in a recurring role on the comedy's upcoming second season. He is known for his starring role in the film The Sandlot.
- He will play Cupcake, a socially awkward GLOW superfan who is also an enthusiastic baker.
STARZ's COUNTERPART
- Eme Ikwuakor and Karan Oberoi have scored recurring roles on the drama's upcoming second season. Ikwuakor starred in ABC's one-season drama Inhumans and recurs in Netflix's On My Block. Oberoi has recurred on CBS' NCIS and ABC's Notorious.
- Ikwuakor will play Yorke, management's enigmatic fixer.
- Oberoi will play Osman, a young, fast-rising interrogator.
EPIX's GET SHORTY
- Alex Sawyer and Sonya Walger have landed recurring roles on the drama's upcoming second season. Sawyer starred for three seasons in Nickelodeon's House of Anubis. Walger starred for two seasons in ABC's The Catch and had a notable recurring role on ABC's Lost.
- Sawyer will play David Oumou, an earnest actor working an unglamorous day job, until a shocking murder brings him attention and makes him a breakout star.
- Walger will play Lila, who represents the LA wing of a deadly drug cartel. In contrast to her Nevada counterparts, she is corporate and cleanly efficient, but no less deadly. When Lila pushes Amara (Lidia Porto) around, the conflict turns bloody.
