ABC's Steps and CBS' Pandas in New York.

CBS' PANDAS IN NEW YORK
  • Dhruv Singh will play the lead role on the comedy pilot written by Ajay Sahgal. He is a member of the Groundling's Sunday Company and has performed in several Upright Citizen Brigade shows.
  • He will play Rishi, a physician who just spent a year in Cambodia as a member of Doctors Without Borders. Now, he's back home in New York and, unbeknownst to his family, has accepted a job with a free clinic. However, his family has other plans for his life. As their only son, he's supposed to join the Panda's orthopedic practice, marry a nice Indian girl with a medical degree and have as many children as possible. And while his family is ecstatic to have him home, they will go to any lengths necessary to get him in line with all the other Pandas.
ABC's STEPS
  • Ryan Michelle Bathe has been cast on the comedy pilot starring Ginnifer Goodwin and Kyle Bornheimer. She has had recurring roles on NBC's This Is Us and FOX's Empire.
  • She will play Genevieve, a newly single, driven and work-focused woman in control.
