NBC Renews 'Will & Grace' for Season 11

During its panel at PaleyFest, NBC has announced another very early renewal for its original comedy series Will & Grace - picking the revival up for a third season, the comedy's eleventh overall.

The news tonight comes as the current 16-episode ninth season ends on Thursday, April 5. The network ordered a tenth season before the revival ever aired last fall. The initial pickup for Season 10 was 13 episodes. That has now been extended to 18 episodes for the 2018-19 season. And now, the comedy has been renewed for its third revival season - Season 11 for the overall series. That too will feature 18 episodes airing in the 2019-20 season.

The comedy stars Eric McCormack, Debra Messing, Megan Mullally and Sean Hayes.

David Kohan and Max Mutchnick created the comedy. They returned as executive producers for the new episodes, alongside director James Burrows.

In its ninth season, the comedy is averaging a 3.1 rating in the key Adults 18-49 demographic and 9.8 million total viewers in Live+7 statistics.
