- Tig Notaro will guest star in the drama's upcoming second season. The stand-up comedian was the creator and star of Amazon's One Mississippi - which ran for two seasons. In 2016, she received an Emmy nomination for her special Tig Notaro: Boyish Girl Interrupted.
- She will play Denise Reno, the chief engineer of the USS Hiawatha.
