CBS Renews 'Mom' for Season 6

CBS has renewed its original comedy series Mom for a sixth season, it was announced today. The comedy joins The Big Bang Theory, Young Sheldon, S.W.A.T., SEAL Team and Murphy Brown on the network's 2018-19 schedule.





The comedy stars Anna Faris, Allison Janney, Mimi Kennedy, Jaime Pressly, Beth Hall and William Fichtner.

Chuck Lorre, Gemma Baker and Eddie Gorodetsky created the comedy. They executive produce with Nick Bakay. Warner Bros. Television and Chuck Lorre Productions produce.

"Mom has been a lynchpin comedy for us over the last several years," said Kelly Kahl, President, CBS Entertainment. "It's a fearless series that tackles provocative social issues with laughter and grace, and a large, loyal audience has followed. With gifted talents like Anna and Allison leading a great ensemble cast, and a production team headed by Chuck Lorre, Eddie Gorodetsky, Nick Bakay and Gemma Baker, this series just keeps getting better."
