Cinemax has today given a series order to the original drama Jett starring Carla Gugino (Wayward Pines, Gerald's Game). An episode count and premiere date were not immediately announced.
The drama revolves around world-class thief Daisy "Jett" Kowalski who, fresh out of prison, is forced back into doing what she does best by dangerous and eccentric criminals determined to exploit her skills for their own ends.
Sebastian Gutierrez created the drama and will also direct. He executive produces with Gugino, Mark Stern, Stuart Ford and Dana Brunetti. Stacey Levin is a co-executive producer. Global Road Entertainment produces.
