Comedy Central Announces Premiere Date for Season 2 of 'Detroiters'

Comedy Central has today announced the premiere date for the upcoming second season of the original comedy series Detroiters.







The 10-episode second season will begin on Thursday, June 21 at 10/9c. with back-to-back episodes. It will then air each Thursday at 10:30/9:30c. through the finale.

The comedy stars Sam Richardson and Tim Robinson as small-time ad men in the Motor City. Whatever they do, they do it together. And no matter what, Tim and Sam's love for each other and their city never wavers. In the new season, Tim and Sam work with bigger clients including the Michigan Science Center; Sam pursues new romantic interests; Tim's brother starts working at Cramblin Duvet and has a disruptive effect on the office; and the guys produce an ad with their hero, legendary Detroit news anchor, Mort Crim.

Guest stars in the new season include Tim Meadows, Bobby Moynihan, Mary Lynn Rajskub, Faizon Love, Amber Ruffin, Jerry Minor, Conner O'Malley, Nora Dunn, Mort Crim and Jim Harbaugh.

Richardson and Robinson co-created the comedy with Joe Kelly and Zach Kanin. They executive produce with Lorne Michaels, Jason Sudeikis and Andrew Singer. Broadway Video produces.
