Casting News - May 16, 2018

Amazon's The Boys and CBS' FBI.

AMAZON's THE BOYS
  • Elisabeth Shue has been cast as a series regular on the upcoming drama starring Karl Urban. She received an Academy Award nomination for her performance in Leaving Las Vegas. She also starred for three seasons in CBS' CSI.
  • She will play Madelyn Stillwell, the Vice President of Hero Management for Vought who is in charge of public persona as well as the assignments of the Superheroes. She is a tough negotiator who rides roughshod over public relations dilemmas, such as when superhero A-Train (Jessie T. Usher) accidentally kills an innocent bystander and damage control needs to be done at any price, or when a city mayor requests a superhero for his own beleaguered town.
CBS' FBI
  • Connie Nielsen is exiting the upcoming drama starring Missy Peregrym and Zeeko Zaki. The drama was just given the plum Tuesday night time slot following NCIS at today's CBS schedule announcement. Nielsen appears in the trailer that was released today with footage from the first episode.
  • She played Ellen, the FBI Special Agent in Charge. A deeply respected boss, she is elegant, cultured and operates under massive pressure - political, public and self-imposed. She deals by being highly organized and disarmingly direct. She'll do anything for her agents who earn it, and is impossible to intimidate.
