FOX has continued with its series pickups this evening - handing out official orders to the multi-camera comedy The Cool Kids and the drama Proven Innocent.

The Cool Kids - Three guy friends in a retirement community are the top dogs until they're blown out of the water by the newest member of the community: a female rebel whose ready to challenge their place. It's high school with 70-somethings.

Charlie Day and Paul Fruchbom wrote the pilot, which was directed by Don Scardino. Day and Scardino executive produce with Kevin Abbott, Rob McElhenney, Glenn Howerton and Nick Frenkel. Fruchbom is a co-executive producer. 20th Century Fox Television and FX Productions produce.

Proven Innocent - Led by a fierce and fearless female lawyer with a hunger for justice, the team reopens investigations, putting their own lives in danger to exonerate the innocent that were "proven" guilty. The drama will see her defend others as she fights to maintain her own innocence.
