Netflix Teams with CBC for Drama 'Northern Rescue' Starring Billy Baldwin and Kathleen Robertson

Netflix has today announced a partnership with the Canadian broadcaster CBC for the original drama series Northern Rescue starring Billy Baldwin (Too Old to Die Young) and Kathleen Robertson (Murder in the First). Production will begin in June in Ontario. 





After the death of his wife Sarah, John (Baldwin) packs up his three children and moves from their hectic urban life to his small northern hometown to take command of the local search-and-rescue service. Once there, the family struggles with their new surroundings, new friends and accepting Sarah's death. The children's aunt (Robertson) helps John and his children heal as she copes with the loss of her sister and her desire to have a family of her own.

Mark Bacci, Dwayne Hill and David Cormican created the drama. They will executive produce with Baldwin, Don Carmody and director Bradley Walsh. Don Carmody Television produces for CBC and Netflix.
