Netflix has today announced the premiere date for the upcoming original comedy series All About the Washingtons starring Rev Run and his wife Justine Simmons.
The 10-episode first season will debut on Friday, August 10.
The comedy follows Joey Washington (Rev Run aka Joseph Simmons) and his wife Justine Washington (Justine Simmons). After Joey decides to retire from a long career as legendary hip-hop royalty, his wife takes advantage of the opportunity to pursue a career of her own now that Joey is available to focus on raising the kids and keeping the house in order.
The cast also includes Kiana Ledé, Nathan Anderson, Leah Rose Randall and Maceo Smedley.
Jeremy Bronson created the comedy. He executive produces with showrunner Andrew Reich, Rev Run Simmons, Justine Simmons, Justin Falvey, Darryl Frank and Michael Lehman. Amblin Television and Simmons Lehman Productions produce.
