- Emmy winner Aaron Paul is set as the male lead on the upcoming drama starring Octavia Spencer and Lizzy Caplan. Also rounding out the main cast today are Ron Cephas Jones, Elizabeth Perkins, Mekhi Phifer, Michael Beach, Tracie Thoms and Haneefah Wood.
- Paul (Breaking Bad, The Path) will play Warren Cave, a convicted murderer whose guilt or innocence has remained a question in many people's minds for the past 20 years.
- Jones (This Is Us) will play Leander "Shreve" Scoville, Poppy's (Spencer) father.
- Perkins (Weeds, Sharp Objects) will play Melanie Cave, Warren's mother.
- Phifer (ER, Frequency) will play Markus Knox, a former detective and Poppy's longtime friend.
- Beach (Sons of Anarchy, The 100) will play Ingram Rhoades, a successful attorney and Poppy's husband.
- Thoms (UnREAL, 9-1-1) will play Desiree Scoville, Poppy's older and opinionated sister.
- Wood (One Day at a Time, Baskets) will play Cydie Scoville, Poppy's fiercely loyal sister.
THE CW's THE FLASH
- Danielle Nicolet has been promoted to series regular for the drama's upcoming fifth season. The promotion comes after she has recurred heavily throughout the drama's third and fourth seasons.
- She plays Cecile Horton, the district attorney of Central City and love interest to Joe West (Jesse L. Martin). She also developed mind-reading powers while she was pregnant.
