Apple's Are You Sleeping; Netflix's Chambers & Messiah; and Starz's Now Apocalypse.





NETFLIX's CHAMBERS
  • Tony Goldwyn will play the male lead opposite Uma Thurman on the upcoming drama created by Leah Rachel. His casting marks his first follow-up role after seven seasons as a series regular on ABC's Scandal.
  • He will play Ben Lefevre, the father of the heart donor. His warn charm and practical business acumen conceals a mystical bent that knows no bounds. He is the philanthropic owner of Annex Power. Born in El Paso, his money is self-made and he attributes a large portion of that to the Annex Foundation - a new-age spiritual center. After the death of his daughter, Ben becomes even more devoted to their cause.
APPLE's ARE YOU SLEEPING
  • Lizzy Caplan has joined the cast of the upcoming drama starring Octavia Spencer. She previously starred for four seasons in Showtime's Masters of Sex, which earned her an Emmy nomination in Lead Actress in a Drama Series.
  • She will play twin sisters Josie and Lanie, whose lives have taken very different paths. The story of the first season focuses on an investigative reporter (Spencer) behind a hit true-crime podcast who reopens the case of Josie and Lanie's father's murder.
STARZ's NOW APOCALYPSE
  • Kelli Berglund, Beau Mirchoff and Roxane Mesquida have been cast on the upcoming comedy starring Avan Jogia. Berglund starred for four seasons in Disney XD's Lab Rats. Mirchoff starred for five seasons in MTV's Awkward. Mesquida starred in the Canadian drama XIII: The Series.
  • Berglund will play Carly, a wannabe actress and Ulysses' (Jogia) best friend.
  • Mirchoff will play Ford, an aspiring screenwriter and Ulysses' roommate.
  • Mesquida will play Severine, a French, confident and pragmatic astro-biologist theorist. 
NETFLIX's MESSIAH
  • Melinda Page Hamilton, Stefania LaVie Owen, Jane Adams, Sayyid El Alami, Fares Landousil and Will Travel will co-star on the upcoming drama created by Michael Petroni. Furthermore, Barbara Eve Harris, Iqbal Theba, Emily Kinney, Jackson Hurst and Nicole Rose Scimeca will recur in the first season.
  • Hamilton (Devious Maids) will play Anna Iguero, the Virginia-born daughter of a preacher, who married a preacher. Her world gets turned around when a stranger from a far-off land enters her life.
  • Owen (The Carrie Diaries) will play Rebecca Iguero, a troubled teen living in a backwater Texas town who wants nothing more than to leave her life behind. Fate seems to conspire to bring her wish true when a series of events rocks her life.
  • Adams (Twin Peaks: The Return) will play Miriam Keneally, an acerbic CNN reporter who is doggedly devoted to unearthing the truth about al-Masih (Mehdi Dehbi). In the process, she has to come to terms with some of her own personal secrets.
  • Traval (Jessica Jones) will play Will Mathers, an Army veteran-turned-FBI JTTF agent who finds himself at loggerheads with his CIA counterpart Eva Geller (Michelle Monaghan) as they are thrown together in the pursuit of al-Masih.
  • El Alami will play Jibril Medina, an orphaned Syrian refugee who leaves war-torn Damascus to become a devotee of al-Masih in the hope the stranger leads him to his destiny.
  • Landousil will play Samir, a Syrian refugee and friend to Jibril who also abandons Damascus, only to find that his destiny is elsewhere.
  • Harris (Chicago P.D.) will play Katherine Bailey, Geller's level-headed boss and confidante.
  • Theba (Glee) will play Danny Kirmani, the Under Secretary for the Middle East.
  • Kinney (The Walking Dead) will play Staci Hardwick, who goes on a pilgrimage with her mortally ill child, Raeah (Scimeca).
  • Hurst (Drop Dead Diva) will play Jonah Hardwick, Staci's husband and Raeah's father.
