TV Land Cancels 'Nobodies' After 2 Seasons

TV Land has today announced the cancellation of its original comedy series Nobodies after two seasons. The comedy ended its run on May 31, 2018.

The comedy starred Hugh Davidson, Larry Dorf and Rachel Ramras as fictionalized versions of themselves.

The trio of stars served as executive producers with Melissa McCarthy, Ben Falcone, Michael McDonald and Tony Hernandez. Jax Media and On the Day Productions produced.

The first season of the comedy aired on TV Land and received a second season renewal before the first episode debuted. In between seasons, it was announced that the comedy would be transitioning to the Paramount Network. The comedy returned with its second season on March 29 to low numbers. It actually performed better in its simulcast airings on TV Land. So after a couple weeks, it returned to its former network. And yet, those numbers still weren't good enough to justify a renewal for a third season.
