- Penelope Ann Miller has been cast in a recurring role on the drama's upcoming third season. She starred in the first season of ABC's American Crime. She has previously recurred on ABC's Mistresses and TNT's Men of a Certain Age.
- She will play Ms. Wright, the savvy and eloquent prosecuting attorney in charge of handling Archie's (KJ Apa) case. With a conviction in mind, she will weave together disparate moments of Archie's young life to portray him as a dangerous, violent sociopath who is capable of committing a heinous crime. And Archie's freedom will hang in the balance.
