The CW's Supergirl; FOX's Empire & Lethal Weapon; NBC's Chicago Fire & Chicago P.D.; and YouTube Premium's Weird City.

  • Annie Ilonzeh and Steven Boyer have been cast in recurring roles on the drama's upcoming seventh season. Ilonzeh has previously recurred on FOX's Empire and CBS' Person of Interest. Boyer has starred for two seasons in NBC's Trial & Error.

  • Boyer will play Jerry Gorsch, the recently named Assistant Deputy Commissioner at the CFD. Nursing a Napoleon complex, he is not a typical hero. Never known for his bravery, he's a former firefighter who has set his eyes on the cushier jobs at headquarters.
  • Rob Morrow will appear in an upcoming episode of the drama's sixth season. He has recently had recurring roles on Showtime's Billions, ABC's Designated Survivor and Freeform's The Fosters.
  • He will play Evan Gilchrist, a rich, liberal entrepreneur and outspoken critic of the police department who is forced to call on CPD for help when his teenage daughter goes missing.
  • Maggie Lawson has booked a recurring role on the drama's upcoming third season. She starred for eight seasons - and the followup movie - of USA's Psych.
  • She will play Natalie Flynn, an emergency room surgeon and Wesley Cole's (Seann William Scott) ex-girlfriend. The two met in an active war zone years earlier, where Natalie served as a medic and had a brief romance that resulted in a child. Over a decade later, Cole once again is a regular in Natalie's ER. He's moved to Los Angeles to get closer to both her and their kid.
  • Toby Onwumere has landed a recurring role on the drama's upcoming fifth season. He starred in the second season of Netflix's Sense8.
  • He will play Kai, a war correspondent and Jamal's (Jussie Smollett) new love interest.
  • Sara Gilbert, Dylan O'Brien, Ed O'Neill, Rosario Dawson, Michael Cera, Laverne Cox and LeVar Burton will guest star in the upcoming anthology series created by Jordan Peele and Charlie Sanders.
  • No details were immediately released about any of the characters they will be playing.
  • Rhona Mitra and Robert Baker have been cast in recurring roles on the drama's upcoming fourth season. Mitra starred for two seasons in Cinemax's Strike Back and two seasons in TNT's The Last Ship. Baker has previously recurred on ABC's Grey's Anatomy, Netflix's Longmire and The CW's The Originals.
  • Mitra will play Mercy Graves, an ex-CADMUS agent who has always believed in human exceptionalism. But with both Lex and Lillian in prison, she is stepping out of the Luthor shadow and running her own show. With her biting wit and lethal brawn, she steadily becomes a key figure in National City's growing "human-first" movement.
  • Baker will play Otis Graves, Mercy's brother and right hand man. What he lacks in brains, he makes up for with his savant-like abilities to assassinate aliens.
