CBS All Access has today announced the premiere date for the upcoming original drama series One Dollar.
The new drama will premiere on Thursday, August 30 with the rest of the episodes rolling out weekly on Thursdays.
Set in a small rust belt town in post-recession America, the drama follows a one dollar bill that changes hands and connects a group of characters involved in a shocking multiple murder. The path of the dollar bill and point of view in each episode paint a picture of a modern American town with deep class and cultural divides that spill out into the open as the town's secrets get revealed.
The drama stars John Carroll Lynch, Nathaniel Martello-White, Chris Denham, Philip Ettinger, Kirrilee Berger, Gracie Lawrence, Joshua Bitton, Nike Uche Kadri and Hamilton Clancy.
Recurring guest stars include Jeff Perry, Sturgill Simpson, Greg Germann, Aleksa Palladino and Leslie Odom Jr.
Jason Mosberg created the drama, with Craig Zobel directing every episode of the first season. They executive produce with Matt DeRoss and Alexandre Dauman. CBS Television Studios and Anonymous Content produce.
