Casting News - Chris Chalk Boards Netflix's 'Central Park Five'; Chris Vance to Recur on Amazon's 'Bosch'; Plus 1 More Update!

Amazon's Bosch; and Netflix's Central Park Five & Dead to Me.






AMAZON's BOSCH
  • Chris Vance has landed a recurring role on the drama's upcoming fifth season. He starred for two seasons in TNT's Transporter: The Series. He has also had recurring roles on The CW's Supergirl and TNT's Rizzoli & Isles.
  • He will play Dalton Walsh, the big boss of the opioid ring.
NETFLIX's CENTRAL PARK FIVE
  • Chris Chalk, Ethan Herisse, Marquis Rodriguez, Caleel Harris, Asante Black, Freddie Miyares and Justin Cunningham have been cast on the upcoming limited series from Ava DuVernay. 
  • Chalk, Miyares and Cunningham will play the adult versions of Yusef Salaam, Raymond Santana and Kevin Richardson, respectively. They join Jharrel Jerome and Jovan Adepo as the adult men in the Central Park Five case.
  • Herisse, Rodriguez, Harris and Black will play the young versions of Yusef Salaam, Raymond Santana, Antron McCray and Kevin Richardson, respectively.
NETFLIX's DEAD TO ME
  • Max Jenkins and Luke Roessler will co-star on the upcoming comedy starring Christina Applegate and Linda Cardellini. Jenkins starred for two seasons in NBC's The Mysteries of Laura. Roessler has previously recurred on A&E's Bates Motel and FX's Legion.
  • Jenkins will play Christopher, Jen's (Applegate) church-going, gay real estate partner. Despite his faithful support and good intentions for his friend, he always somehow manages to say the exact wrong thing.
  • Roessler will play Henry, Jen's younger son, a softie with a big heart. An upbeat kid full of compassion, he worries about his mom being lonely after the tragic death of his father.
