Apple's Untitled M. Night Shyamalan Drama; CBS' The Code; The CW's The Flash; Netflix's What/If; and USA's The Purge.





APPLE's UNTITLED M. NIGHT SHYAMALAN DRAMA
  • Lauren Ambrose and Nell Tiger Free have been cast on the upcoming drama created by Tony Basgallop and M. Night Shyamalan. Ambrose received two Emmy nominations for HBO's Six Feet Under and a Tony nomination earlier this year for her performance in My Fair Lady. Free had a recurring role on HBO's Game of Thrones and next stars in the Amazon drama Too Old to Die Young.
  • Ambrose will play Dorothy Turner, the mother to a newborn.
  • Free will play Leanne Grayson, a young nanny.
NETFLIX's WHAT/IF
  • Jane Levy has joined the cast of the upcoming anthology series starring RenĂ©e Zellweger. She starred for three seasons in ABC's Suburgatory and is currently a series regular on the first season of Hulu's Castle Rock.
  • She will play Lisa. No additional character details were immediately announced.
USA's THE PURGE
  • Dominic Fumusa has booked a recurring role on the upcoming drama based on the film franchise. He starred for seven seasons in Showtime's Nurse Jackie. He has recently recurred on Showtime's Homeland and Amazon's Goliath.
  • He will play Pete, a keen-eyed, no bullshit, ex-military and ex-cop with a mysterious past and a dry sense of humor He's extremely connected and respected by the community, and has his finger on the pulse of the city.
THE CW's THE FLASH
  • Kyle Secor has landed a recurring role on the drama's upcoming fifth season. He starred for seven seasons in NBC's Homicide: Life on the Street and one season in ABC's Commander in Chief.
  • He will play Dr. Thomas Snow, Caitlin's (Danielle Panabaker) father, an extremely intelligent geneticist who has been missing for decades. Upon returning to Central City, he will try his best to make up for lost time. But what Caitlin doesn't know is that he is hiding a big secret.
CBS' THE CODE
  • Dana Delany has been tapped as a new series regular on the upcoming drama starring Luke Mitchell. She starred for four seasons in ABC's China Beach, where she won two Emmy Awards for Lead Actress in a Drama Series. She also starred for three seasons in ABC's Desperate Housewives, three seasons in ABC's Body of Proof and two seasons in Amazon's Hand of God.
  • She will play Colonel Eisa Turnbull, the Commanding Officer of the Marine Corps' Judge Advocate Division. She demands excellence of herself and her staff, inspiring fierce loyalty from the attorneys who serve under her command. One of the highest-ranking female officers in the Corps, she is also the mother of two sons who are serving overseas. The role was played by Mira Sorvino in the original pilot.
