Casting News - Joseph Quinn Joins 'Catherine the Great'; Joivan Wade to Co-Star on 'Doom Patrol'; Plus 2 More Updates!

The CW's The Flash; DC Universe's Doom Patrol; HBO's Catherine the Great; and Netflix's Unbelievable.





THE CW's THE FLASH
  • Kiana Madeira has been cast in a recurring role on the drama's upcoming fifth season. She currently stars in Facebook Watch's drama Sacred Lies.
  • She will play Spencer Young aka Spin, a young aspiring social media influencer who seizes the opportunity to make herself famous when she discovers there is a new hero in Central City.
NETFLIX's UNBELIEVABLE
  • Kai Lennox, Dale Dickey, Austin Hébert and Omar Maskati have booked recurring roles on the upcoming limited series starring Toni Collette and Merritt Wever. Lennox starred for two seasons in USA's Falling Water. Dickey has recurred on TNT's Claws and HBO's Vice Principals. Hébert appeared in the films Jack Reacher: Never Go Back, Detroit and 12 Strong. Maskati previously recurred on AMC's Better Call Saul and FX's Tyrant.
  • Like with most of the previous casting, no details were immediately released about any of the characters they will be playing.
HBO's CATHERINE THE GREAT
  • Joseph Quinn has joined the cast of the upcoming miniseries starring Helen Mirren and Jason Clarke. He starred in the Starz miniseries Howards End and next appears in the BBC/PBS series Les Miserables.
  • He will play Prince Paul, Catherine the Great's (Mirren) son and heir.
DC UNIVERSE's DOOM PATROL
  • Joivan Wade will co-star on the upcoming drama created by Jeremy Carver. He recently appeared in the films The Weekend and The First Purge.
  • He will play Victor Stone, the charming and sarcastic half-human, half-machine superhero known as Cyborg. He may be connected to every computer in the world, but he struggles to maintain the connections that make him human. Desperate to gain acceptance from the outside world, he harnesses the curse of his cybernetic body and uses his powers as the ultimate hero for the digital age.
