Hulu has today renewed its original anthology series Castle Rock for a second season. An episode count and premiere window weren't immediately announced for the new season.
In its first season, the drama stars André Holland, Melanie Lynskey, Bill Skarsgård, Jane Levy and Sissy Spacek. The series is designed to feature a new cast with each respective season because they will be focusing on different stories.
Sam Shaw and Dustin Thomason created the drama based on characters and settings from Stephen King. All three executive produce with J.J. Abrams, Ben Stephenson, Mark Lafferty and Liz Glotzer. Warner Bros. Television and Bad Robot Productions produce.
The renewal comes as Hulu will debut the sixth episode of the first season on Wednesday.
