Casting News - Justin Cornwell Joins 'The InBetween'; Tom Wlaschiha to Recur on 'Jack Ryan'; Plus 1 More Update!

Amazon's Jack Ryan; Charter's L.A.'s Finest; and NBC's The InBetween.

  • Justin Cornwell will play the male lead on the upcoming drama starring Harriet Dyer and Paul Blackthorne. He previously starred in CBS' one-season drama Training Day. He replaces Yusuf Gatewood, who played the role in the original pilot.
  • The drama revolves around Cassie Bishop (Dyer), who can see and communicate with the dead and help them with their unresolved problems. When longtime friend Detective Tom Hackett (Blackthorne) and his new partner, former FBI Agent Damien Asante (Cornwell), need help solving a darkly puzzling murder, Cassie agrees to use her abilities. Despite her reluctance, she may have found a way to keep her demons at bay, all while solving some of the city's most challenging cases.
  • Tom Wlaschiha has booked a recurring role on the drama's upcoming second season. He starred for two seasons in HBO's Game of Thrones and three seasons in the international drama Crossing Lines.
  • He will play Max Schenkel, a mysterious foreign operative who crosses paths with Jack Ryan (John Krasinski) in South America.
  • Sophie Reynolds has been cast as a series regular on the upcoming drama starring Gabrielle Union and Jessica Alba. She starred for two seasons in Disney XD's Gamer's Guide to Pretty Much Everything and one season in YouTube's Youth & Consequences.
  • She will play Isabel, Patrick's (Ryan McPartlin) rebellious, angsty and eager to grow up teenage daughter who has a complicated relationship with her step-mom Nancy (Alba). Defiant and sometimes snarky, she is a bright, curious and caring young woman who bonds with Syd (Union).
