Facebook Watch has today announced the premiere date for the upcoming new original comedy series Queen America starring Catherine Zeta-Jones.
The dark comedy series will premiere on Wednesday, November 21.
Set in Tulsa, Oklahoma, Vicki Ellis (Zeta-Jones) is the most renowned and ruthless pageant coach in the state. The hapless Samantha Stone (Belle Shouse) hopes Vicki can mold her into a worthwhile contender for the title of Miss America. Vicki is desperately sought after by young women competing to be Miss America for one reason; she can turn any girl into a winner. But when she gets paired with the beautiful but unpolished Samantha, Vicki's entire reputation might be at stake.
The cast also includes Jennifer Westfeldt, Victoria Justice, Teagle F. Bougere, Rana Roy, Isabella Amara, Molly Price, Megan West and Judith Light.
Meaghan Oppenheimer created the series. She executive produces with Paul Lee, Bruna Papandrea, Casey Haver, Guymon Casady, Suzan Bymel, Janice Williams and director Alethea Jones. Entertainment 360, Made Up Stories and wiip produce.
