CBS Gives Full Season Order to 'FBI'

Following yesterday's pickup of more episodes for NBC's New Amsterdam, CBS' FBI is the second new broadcast series this fall to get an order for additional episodes. CBS has ordered nine more for the first season - bringing its total to 22 episodes.

The drama stars Missy Peregrym, Zeeko Zaki, Jeremy Sisto, Ebonée Noel and Sela Ward.

Craig Turk created the drama. He stepped down as executive producer and showrunner after the pilot for creative differences. He was replaced by Person of Interest's Greg Plageman, who produced the first few episodes and oversaw some recasting. Earlier this week, it was announced that Plageman was stepping down as showrunner to focus more on development. He was replaced by Chicago P.D.'s Rick Eid and Chicago Fire's Derek Haas in the role.

Eid and Haas now executive produce alongside Dick Wolf, Arthur W. Forney and Peter Jankowski. Universal Television, CBS Television Studios and Wolf Films produce.
