Syfy Reveals Premiere Date for New Drama 'Deadly Class' Starring Benedict Wong

During its panel at New York Comic Con, Syfy announced the premiere date for the upcoming original drama series Deadly Class.

The new drama will premiere on Wednesday, January 16 at 10/9c.

Set in a dark, comic book world against the backdrop of late '80s counter culture, a disillusioned teen is recruited into a storied elite private school where the world's top crime families send their next generations. The drama stars Benedict Wong, Benjamin Wadsworth, Lana Condor, Maria Gabriela de Faria, Luke Tennie, Liam James, Michel Duval and Henry Rollins.

Rick Remender and Miles Orion Feldscott developed the drama based on the comic of the same name. They executive produce with showrunner Mick Betancourt, Joe & Anthony Russo, Mike Larocca and director Lee Toland Krieger. Universal Cable Productions, Sony Pictures Television and Russo Brothers Productions produce.

Furthermore, the drama made some casting announcements today with Isaiah Lehtinen, Brian Posehn, Erica Cerra, French Stewart and Olivia Cheng joining the recurring cast and Ice-T making a cameo appearance.
