FOX Orders 13 Episodes of Animated Comedy 'Duncanville' Starring Amy Poehler and Rashida Jones

FOX is continuing to build on its animated content for the 2019-20 season. Today, the broadcast network has given a 13-episode series order to the animated comedy series Duncanville featuring the voices of Amy Poehler, Rashida Jones and Wiz Khalifa.

The comedy revolves around 15-year-old Duncan and his friends and family, including his mother, Annie, who is constantly trying to prevent her son from ruining his life.

Married writers Mike and Julie Scully created the comedy. They will executive produce with Poehler and Dave Becky. Universal Television, 20th Century Fox Television, Paper Kite Productions and 3 Arts Entertainment will produce.

"Duncanville is one of the freshest animated concepts we've seen, and has an insane pedigree of comedic talent across the board," said Michael Thorn, President, Fox Entertainment. "We've enjoyed a long, incredible run with Mike and Julie, and everything Amy does is pure genius. Having the voice talents of Rashida and Wiz join her makes this show the complete package. I can't wait to have them all together when we add Duncanville to our growing animated slate."
