HBO has opted to cancel its original animated comedy series Animals after three seasons, it was announced today. The series aired its last episode on October 5, 2018.
The comedy focused on the downtrodden creatures native to New York City, including rats, pigeons and bedbugs.
Phil Matarese and Mike Luciano co-created the series and voice many of the characters. They executive produced with Mark and Jay Duplass. Duplass Brothers Television and Starburns Industries produced.
