AMC Renews 'Preacher' for Season 4

AMC has renewed its original drama series Preacher for a fourth season, it was announced today. Furthermore, it was revealed that production will be relocating to Australia and begin on the new 10-episode season in early 2019.





The drama's third season starred Dominic Cooper, Joseph Gilgun, Ruth Negga, Ian Colletti, Graham McTavish, Pip Torrens, Noah Taylor, Julie Ann Emery, Malcolm Barrett, Colin Cunningham and Betty Buckley.

Sam Catlin, Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg developed the drama based on the comic series by Garth Ennis and Steve Dillon. They executive produce with James Weaver, Neal H. Moritz, Vivian Cannon, Ori Marmur, Ken F. Levin, Jason Netter and Michael Slovis. AMC Studios, Sony Pictures Television, Point Grey and Original Film produce.

"Preacher is a show unlike any other on television. A passionate base of fans found their way to Jesse, Tulip and Cassidy and have followed along with their adventures, at times indescribable adventures, for three seasons," said David Madden, President of Programming, AMC. "We are thankful to our partners at Sony and to Seth, Evan and Sam for everything they have brought to this series, which we are pleased to renew for a fourth season. Like the superfans of Preacher, we can't wait to see where this journey leads next."
