Eight months after ending its second season, HBO has renewed its original comedy series Divorce for a third season. Production will begin on the new season in early 2019.
The third season of the comedy will feature six episodes - the lowest episode count so far following the eight episodes of Season 1 and the ten episodes of Season 2. Moreover, Liz Tuccillo has been tapped as the third showrunner for the series. She will take over for Jenny Bicks, who replaced Paul Simms in the role.
The comedy stars Sarah Jessica Parker, Thomas Haden Church, Molly Shannon, Talia Balsam, Tracy Letts, Sterling Jerins, Charlie Kilgore and Becki Newton.
Sharon Horgan created the comedy. She executive produces with Parker, Bicks, Alison Benson and Aaron Kaplan.
